Home Clarity Companion

Turn clarity into a clear direction.

Bring everything we uncovered during your Home Clarity Session together into a personalised Design Direction—the foundation for every future decision you make about your home.

Where it belongs

On the Companion page, I'd structure it roughly:

  1. Hero

    • Bring your Design Direction to life.

    • Short explanation of what the Companion is.

  2. Why the Companion exists

    • You've got the direction; now you're implementing it.

    • One room or defined area.

  3. The two ways we can work together

    • THIS TWO-COLUMN SECTION

    • Guided / Partnered

  4. What's included / how it works

    • Three-month timeframe

    • what happens during the experience

    • boundaries / what isn't included

  5. Who it's for

  6. FAQ

  7. CTA

So don't put this on Work With Me. Your Work With Me page already gives people enough information to know there are two Companion levels and links them to explore further. This is the deeper explanation they're asking for when they click through.

And visually?

The layout is good. The old-site colours are the bit I'd change.

The orange/yellow combination is much more like the old Homes with Soul brand. Your current site has a much more sophisticated palette, so I'd bring this into the current system:

  • Guided: terracotta/copper

  • Partnered: a deeper mustard/gold, but toned down from that very bright yellow

  • Keep the cream/off-white card backgrounds

  • Keep the dark teal text

  • Keep the pink bullet accents only if that pink is still part of your current palette; otherwise use your terracotta or mustard sparingly.

The images also need updating eventually, because those are clearly older brand imagery. The composition is useful, though.

I'd particularly want the images to communicate the difference:

Guided: Nicci advising, looking at options, discussing something with a client — but the client is still clearly doing the implementation.

Partnered: more obviously collaborative — Nicci and client actively looking at materials, plans, furniture, colours, etc.

Your current images actually communicate that distinction pretty well, despite being old. So don't spend time replacing them today. They're good enough for the prototype.

One copy change I'd make now

On the Partnered card you've got:

My active involvement when you want support making key design decisions.

That's grammatically a bit awkward and also starts with "My", whereas the Guided card starts with the client's experience.

I'd change it to:

More active professional involvement when you want support making key design decisions.

Much cleaner.

And I'd probably make the two opening descriptions parallel:

GUIDED
You implement. I guide.

Professional design guidance while you bring your room together yourself.

PARTNERED
We make the important decisions together.

More active professional involvement when you want support bringing your room together.

That's enough. The bullets then explain the difference.

Most importantly

Save this section and move on.

You don't need the Companion page to publish the core site if your current Work With Me page clearly says what the Companion is and gives people an "Explore the Home Clarity Companion" link. But if you're going to have that link live at launch, I'd want the destination page built before publishing.

So I'd make your immediate sequence:

Finish Start Here → finish Home Clarity Plan → build Companion page using this comparison → pricing/booking → final site audit.

And don't spend another hour perfecting these colours and images today. You've got the bones of the Companion page sitting right here. That's a future task, not a reason to stop the launch.

The Home Clarity Session helps you understand your home.

The Home Clarity Plan helps you shape its future.

The hidden cost of not having a clear direction

When every decision is made in isolation, it's easy to get it wrong.

A rug that doesn't quite relate to the rest of the room.

A paint colour that works beautifully until the flooring changes.

A renovation that solves one problem while creating another.

The Home Clarity Plan helps you step back from individual decisions and see how everything fits together before you invest.

It gives you the confidence to invest where it will make the greatest difference—and avoid spending money where it won't.

Connecting your decorating dots

The Home Clarity Plan isn't simply a summary of our conversation.

It's a personalised decision-making framework designed to guide your home over time.

It brings together the things that already belong, identifies where your investment will have the greatest impact, and creates a Design Direction that connects every future decision.

Rather than wondering what to do next each time you're ready to improve your home, you'll have a trusted reference that helps every decision build on the last.

Professional judgement you can return to.

The Home Clarity Plan doesn't just capture my recommendations—it captures the thinking behind them.

Understanding why something belongs, where to invest and what isn't worth pursuing makes every future decision easier.

Rather than relying on memory or revisiting old conversations, you'll have a trusted Design Direction to return to whenever you're making decisions about your home.

Whether you're choosing a sofa next month or renovating years from now, you'll know every decision is building towards the same direction.

The true value of the Home Clarity Plan isn't the day you receive it. It's the confidence it gives you every time you use it.

Designed for your home.

No two homes are the same, so no two Home Clarity Plans are the same.

Every recommendation is shaped around your home, the way you live and the pieces that matter most to you.

Your Home Clarity Plan may include:

  • a personalised Design Direction

  • room-by-room recommendations

  • furniture, lighting and styling guidance

  • practical recommendations that build on what you already own

  • a prioritised action plan

  • guidance on where to invest—and where you don't need to

  • professional recommendations that respect your priorities and budget

Invest with confidence.

Every home has opportunities, but not every opportunity will make a meaningful difference.

The Home Clarity Plan helps you recognise the difference, so you can invest where it will have the greatest impact—and confidently leave well enough alone.

Imagine walking into a furniture store and knowing immediately whether something belongs in your home.

Or standing in front of a paint chart and feeling confident instead of overwhelmed.

That's what having a clear Design Direction feels like.

So you can evolve your home over time in a way that feels like you.

Because the goal isn't to finish your home. It's to know where you're heading.

By the time your Home Clarity Plan is complete, you’ll have...

  • confidence to make decisions without constantly second-guessing yourself

  • a clear Design Direction to guide every future decision

  • confidence that each improvement contributes to the bigger picture

  • clarity about where to invest—and where not to

  • a practical roadmap to guide future projects

  • greater value from the home and furnishings you already own.

A beautiful home isn't created all at once…

It's created through thoughtful decisions that build on one another over time.
