I know how it feels to live in a home that doesn’t feel good.
For years I felt stuck, overwhelmed by decisions and worried about making expensive mistakes, so I kept putting everything off.
Everything changed when I stopped thinking about what I needed to buy and started with what I already owned and loved.
Those pieces became the foundation for every decision that followed.
It was this experience years ago that has transformed the way I think about homes—and it's the foundation of everything I do today.

I don't believe great design comes from someone telling you what your home should look like.
It comes from asking the right questions, listening carefully and helping you uncover what feels right for you.
I'll challenge assumptions when I think they're holding you back, but I'll never pressure you into changing things that already work.
Great homes aren't created all at once.
They're built through thoughtful decisions over time.
What I See
When I visit a home, I immediately see the beginnings of something beautiful.
There are pieces with history, furniture and accessories my client’s love and spaces that have much more potential than they realise.
The challenge usually isn't a lack of taste.
It's that no one has helped connect the dots.
That's the part I love most.
Instead, I’ll help you discover your own, then give you the clarity and confidence to bring it to life.

The Experience Behind Homes with Soul
Before founding Homes with Soul, I spent over ten years working in New Zealand's building and housing sector within central government. Since then I've managed residential renovation projects, facilitated interior design workshops and helped homeowners across New Zealand make confident, well-considered improvements to their homes.
My qualifications and experience include:
Diploma in Design & Decorating — Open Polytechnic (2017)

What guides my work.
I believe our homes affect us in ways we don't always notice, which is why I encourage people to start with what they already own, and invest thoughtfully in things that will make the biggest difference.
But if I'm honest, the thing I enjoy most isn't the design work. It's seeing the change in my clients’ confidence.
Watching someone move from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain to feeling clear, confident and excited about their home never gets old.
